Experiencing the cross is bitter yet sweet.
Resurrection life comes after total death to self.
Take up your cross and follow Me.
I am calling you.
Come deeper. Come deeper. Come deeper.
Take up your cross daily and follow Me.
The pain and suffering of this present time will
reveal a far more eternal weight of glory.
Take up your cross and follow Me.
I went to the cross for all mankind.
I took up My cross for each one of you.
Now I say, "take up your cross and follow Me".
There is a cost in serving Me.
It will cost you everything to follow Me.
Lay down those things that you hold dear.
Come and lay them down at the foot of the cross.
This is the part of the gospel that My children do not
like to hear.
It is only in dying to self and taking up your cross
that resurrection power will come.
The power of God will flow from those that are willing
to give up self.
Are you willing to give up all to follow in My steps?
Are you willing to be My bond servant?
As Paul was My bond servant, are you truly willing to
follow Me?
In doing so you will do only what I ask of you.
You will walk in total obedience.
You will not do your own will but the will of the Father
that sent Me.
I ask you, are you truly willing to take up your cross and
follow Me?
