His Presence

Sometimes we look for the Lord in the same way
we have searched for him and found him before.
It seems like we do not get an answer and that
the Lord is not there.

The Lord tells us that he is with us always and
that he will never leave or forsake us.

God is calling us to go deeper in Him. Deep calleth
unto deep. We are told to seek him and we will find
him when we seek for him with our WHOLE heart.

It really is saying we need to be loving the Lord with
ALL our heart, soul, mind and strength. This is a
very active kind of searching and an active love that
once ignited does not go out.

Songs of Solomon says in verse 2 "I will seek him
whom my soul loveth.

Do you love him". Truly love him. We need to be
seeking Jesus for ourselves. All the Word we hear
and the things we read (except for Gods word) will
never do for us what the Word of God will.
We need to chew on Gods word ourselves to grow.
What we glean from the Word of God by spending
time there and prayerfully meditating on it is
beyond words.

The more we dig the more hidden treasures we find.
The nuggets of gold hidden in his Word are truly
worth searching for.

As a child it was fun looking for hidden treasure. Little
did I know that I would not find any until I found
the Word of God.

The Lord is wanting to prepare us in his Word and
bring us out of the wilderness to be mightily used
by him. He wants us to be experts at war and at the
same time peacemakers.

Every moment that you take out of your busy life
to seek his presence for who he is will come back to
you a hundred fold. We cannot out give God. It is
his nature to give.

If our Fathers in the natural love to give good gifts
to their children, how much more in the spiritual.

We need refreshing. We need to have the washing of
the Word of God cleanse us from the things we
accumulate in our daily lives that attach to us daily.
Just being out there in the world is in itself draining.

How often do we say "Jesus I love you". Do we ask
him what he is thinking? Jesus tell me about ..........
Do we ask him for his heart for people? Exteriors
can be so deceiving. Many are hurting inside. Some
of those are next to you on Sunday morning. Have
you asked the Lord what is going on in someones life
and how you might pray or minister to them. If you
ask and are trustworthy with his secrets, he will tell
you.

Revelation comes from spending time with our Beloved.
There are no short cuts in relationships. He is that
scarlet ribbon. Christ in our hearts will bring the two
edged sword to our lips.

We need to be able to give a word in season to that
one that is weary and weep with those that weep.

We need to till up to give out. Stop by the well and
take a drink of living water. Refreshed by his presence.

Jesus is just waiting for us to come and touch his heart.
God wants to wake us up. Are we awakening to him.

Are you yearning for more?

He is altogether lovely.

The things God sees should overwhelm our hearts if
we are seeing through his eyes.

The eyes are the window of the soul. Take a look
at someones eyes and you will see so much.

He is calling us to take his presence to a lost
and dying world. He is saying take my word in your
heart and go with it. Take it and give it out and
I will give you more. Give out the bread of life that
I have given you and share it and you will not run
out. He has much more where it came from an
endless supply. Fresh each day. Let us take the
fresh bread he is giving us and give it out to
this lost and dying world. Let us shine for our
beloved. People are looking for answers and we
have the answer.

What the Lord has done for you, go and tell. It is
in giving this life that we keep it.

Go and tell them that Jesus will save them from their
sins and that everlasting life is theirs if only they
will accept his free gift of Eternal life.
