Jesus Is Our Reason For Living!

Today many are tired and needing refreshing that can only come from our Heavenly Father.  It has snowed outside, and there is a fine powdered snow on the ground and roof tops are slightly covered in our town.  It is cold and we are reminded that there is more yet to come.  Winter is here and grace is needed to go through.  Yet, one can be grateful to Father to be able to be home and somewhat protected from the outside world.  As we are outside at times, we see outdoor workers digging in the street perhaps on a broken water main and I am ever reminded how thankful  I am to be indoors.

That said, there are many suffering in this season due to lack in their life.  Many suffering because of their cold spiritual condition and many suffering because of the cause of Christ. We need Jesus to be our reason for living.  He alone is our help in this time of trouble.

Lord strengthen us today to be all we are called to be in Christ.  Strengthen that which remains.  In this natural winter season strengthen us and refresh us but let us remember that in the Spirit we may not be in a winter season and need to be busy about the work of the Kingdom.  Plainly the Kingdom of God is within us and it cannot get rain, or snowed upon.  Let us abound in the work of the Lord.

Give us wisdom to schedule our lives with time at your feet so that life is worthwhile.  Plainly it is too much to face on our own.  Let our prayer be, "Lord we are your creation and the work of your hands.  Help us today to look past our weaknesses and see your strength for you are a very present help in time of trouble.  Help us to lean heavily on your grace today, in Jesus name".

Walk As That Overcomer

¹⁸And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  Matt. 16:18

We have seen much onslaught against the church, but she is a living breathing epistle that will not be defeated.  Christ is building His church and the gates of hell will not prevail against her.  She shall overcome all obstacles and though there are yet many hurtles to overcome, she will do so.  The body of Christ will be triumphant against all the onslaught of the enemy.

God has called you to walk as an overcomer in Him.  You will overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of your testimony.  Do not be discouraged because there are many obstacles set in your path but overcome them one at a time.  Wage war and win.  You are an overcomer and can do all things through Christ who gives you strength.  Faith is the victory that overcomes the world and you are indeed that overcomer.  Walk in holiness before me and overcome.

Thankful Hearts!

God is looking for hearts that are thankful. Are you thankful for all the Lord has done in your life? Does Father God look at you and see a grateful child? The food on your table and even the shoes on your feet can be taken for granted. Let us ask the Lord for a thankful heart that rejoices in all the Lord has done. 4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! 5 Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. He Will Never Forsake Or Leave You!

HE WILL NEVER FORSAKE OR LEAVE YOU!

Today I am seeing the faithfulness of God. He hears and answers prayer. He does above all we could ever ask or hope for and He takes care of His own. Let us become rooted and grounded in His Word so that we will not be moved with all the shaking that is going on. Let us be steadfast and always abounding in the work of the Lord for we know that He will never forsake or leave us. Call on Him today and He will answer you and remember that it will always be in keeping with, His Word.

¹¹ So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Isa. 55:11 (NKJV)

A New Song In Your Heart

A NEW SONG IN YOUR HEART

Last evening as I was preparing to sleep the Lord put a simple song in my heart.  He had me sing it out loud.

Eye has not seen,

ear has not heard,

the things God's prepared

for those that He loves.

God has not forgotten you though man has forgotten God days without number.  Do not give up!  Do not be discouraged!  Father God sees all that you are going through and His plan is to give you a future and a hope. Begin to praise Him today and ask Him to put a new song in your heart.

Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say, rejoice. In praising Him you will find your way to complete victory for faith is the victory that overcomes the world.

Be Encouraged Today!

BE ENCOURAGED TODAY!

There are times that one needs to just go forward like a bulldozer and not stop. The enemy comes with all manner of things to bring discouragement and to try and prevent the Word of God from going forth but you must not be disheartened. David encouraged himself in the Lord and you must do the same. You would not have opposition, even from those that call themselves believers if you were not doing right. The opposition is because you are taking ground. Do the right thing even when it is difficult to do so and God will honour your taking the high road. Begin to praise the Lord and you will see the opposition lift and new joy come into your heart and situation!

³³ These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 (NKJV)

Oh that my people would praise my name for I am worthy to be praised. Oh that my people would call on me for I would answer them. Oh that my people would read My word and then they would see me and walk in holiness. Oh that my people would see and know that I am God. That my people might know me in the power of my resurrection and the fellowship of my sufferings. Oh that my people would know me. Know me.

Contending For The Faith

Contending For The Faith

The days of great contending are here. You are battling for the faith of your fathers.  Abraham stood, the prophets of old stood at great cost and you are no different.  My Word will sustain you through the most difficult of times.  My Word is your help and strength, indeed it is your healing.  Stand fast beloved and do not be moved but contend for the faith today.

Believe me for great things and do not back down but hold your position and I will show you when to press in and take more ground away from the enemy. He has no right to you!  He has no hold on you!  You are free in Christ!!!  Believe My Word and do not look at your situation.  Look to me the author and finisher of your faith.

The apostles of old stood.  You will stand against all odds.  Take the sword of the Lord and fight with it.  Wield it with power.  It is a sharp sword and I will sharpen that which is within you even further.  I am the sword so spend much time in My presence.  I am the one that will refresh in you the tactics to fight.  The armor of God is what protects you so do all that you know in your heart to do, praying in the spirit at all times.  It will lift you up, it will bring revelation, and you will be strengthened.

Above all do not fear.  This is but one tactic of the enemy.  Cover yourself and others with the blood of Jesus.  Fight the good fight of faith and lay hold on eternal life.  The greatest battle ever is yet to come, even at the door so contend daily in the little battles, for the bigger ones will bring victory and you will take the spoils of the enemy as you will will have learned to contend in the small ones.  

Pay attention maintaining health of body, soul and spirit for you will prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers.  Rest in me for all that you need and do not be moved from your position seated in the heavenlies far above all principalities and powers.  Maintain the rest spoken of by me in My Word and fear lest you do not enter it.  Surrender all to me, all that you own, all that you are and even your ministry need to be on the altar to me.  Indeed I am the head of every ministry in the body of Christ and without me in the center you have no ministry.  Minister out of relationship, fire and love for Jesus for without me your ministries will be powerless.  I am the power for I am on the throne.  Allow me the pre-eminence and do not touch My glory.  I will do much with each one of you as you give me all the glory.  I am the glory do not touch it and do my prophets no harm.

Rise up in praise and worship for it will elevate you above all your problems for I inhabit the praises of My people.  I live in your praises.  Exalt me in all situations.  Be aware of what is going on inside you and give no place to the enemy.  Contend beloved children, contend for the faith. The river of life is within you. Keep it flowing by being filled with my word, prayer, praise and intercession, drinking daily from that river.

There are those of you that drink little and that is why you have little power.  There is healing in that river of life for your bodies, refreshing for your soul and your spirit will soar like an eagle if you would but drink.  Come to the river, come for I am calling you to dine at my table.  Come and sit with me for I would be your Father, and I would comfort you as a mother comforts her children.  Come to me and do not delay nor be stubborn but come to me, now.

Tides of refreshing will flow as you run to me.  Prepare in the spiritual for it is first and foremost and then prepare in the natural as I speak into your spirit.  Much is out there online and if my children would heed me as much as they heed the words of others they would do well.  Many do not know My voice and are floundering.  Know My voice for my sheep know me.  Beloved children, know me and do not follow the voice of another.  It is with much contending that you will lay hold on eternal life.  Take time to know me.

The Little Foxes

The Little Foxes

Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes. Sol. 2:15

We live in a surveillance society, and the enemy of our soul also surveys and takes note of what is going on in our lives.  We are told that in scripture it is the little foxes that spoil the vine.  The meaning of this is that the little foxes would come into the vineyard and steal the yet immature fruit off of the vine so that it could not come to maturity.  When fruit begins to flower and bloom it looks very inviting to this furry creature.  On first look the fox can appear so cute but they are very cunning indeed.  They are also a relative of the wolf family which brings understanding to relating to its attack as an attack of the enemy.

We all have a vineyard to take care of even if it is small one.  It may be your home and family that Father has entrusted to you.  It may also be a budding ministry.  I hear the Lord saying, it is the little foxes that spoil the vine.  We need to be on guard, and discern all that comes into our garden (territory) and that beyond.  We need to keep our eyes and ears open.  Have you been battling little things in your life.  Do they often get blown out of proportion by the enemy and seem so much bigger than they really are.  We need to discern these little foxes for sometimes they are visible but often are not what they seem. 

Let Father God show you the little foxes in your life.  You need to throw them out of your garden.  We need to tend our garden and keep our heart clean uprooting all that is not of the Lord.  Plainly we need to do spiritual housecleaning even more often than we do natural cleaning.  It is so easy to tend our physical home and yet leave our spiritual house which is the temple of Holy Spirit neglected.  Should we not instead first get our spiritual home in good condition, and repair that which needs repairing.

Take time to come to Father today and ask Him about the little foxes.  He will reveal to you what He wants you to deal with and He may also help you to pray for someone else that is also battling the little foxes. Where two or three are gathered He is there in the midst.  We are also to bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Let Father reveal to you the little foxes that are spoiling your vine.  Jesus is the true vine and we are the branches so let us come to Him believing that nothing will come near our dwelling that is not of Him. Let us pray Psalm 91 for protection against all works of the enemy knowing that it is His Word that will destroy the little foxes that spoil the vine.

Continue To Speak The Heart Of God In All Matters


As I read a post to me today it spoke to my heart. The woman of God said, "to continue to speak the heart of God in all matters". How powerful is this word to myself and all of us today! We are to speak the full counsel of the Lord, no more, no less! Whatever Father gives you to speak, speak it clearly, consistently with the love of the Father and His Word. Let us hear from Father, speak when He releases us to do so and pray, that it falls on good ground and bears fruit. The Word of the Lord will not come back void.

So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Isaiah 55:11

Faithful Over The Little Things

It should be our desire to be that man or woman of God that touches hearts and lives and see them changed forever. Whatever the Lord has given you to do, then do it to the best of your ability. Even the little assignments are important and as you carry them out to completion the Lord will give you more. Being faithful in little will in time bring you to a place of being faithful over much. Seek the Kingdom of God first and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you.

Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. 1 Cor. 4:2

He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. Luke 16:10

There are those of you that are in need of fine tuning and many need their oil replaced with fresh oil of the Spirit. You have been moving about, in your vessel and not aware that you need refreshing that can only come from time at My feet. Take time out, sit at My feet and come back refreshed, says the Lord.

¹⁹So repent (change your mind and purpose); turn around and return [to God], that your sins may be erased (blotted out, wiped clean), that times of refreshing (of recovering from the effects of heat, of reviving with fresh air) may come from the presence of the Lord; Acts 3:19 (AMP)

NOW Is The Accepted Time!

It is NOW time to pray and intercede.  It is NOW time to sing and worship the Lord your God.  It is NOW time to believe Me for great and mighty things.  It is NOW time to open your eyes and see that which is taking place in My church and in the world.  It is NOW time to let truth be revealed to you.  It is NOW time to stand up and be counted for Me.  It is NOW time to read the Word of God and let it become a part of your daily life.  It is NOW time the take the Word of God and chew on it, digest it and let it do a work in your life. It is NOW time to stand for truth and not back down because the enemy would have you to fear that which is coming on the earth.  It is NOW time to stand on the promises in My Word. It is NOW time to take the sword of the Lord and fight for that which I have promised you.  Stand NOW and fight for that which has been spoken to you. Stand NOW and fight for your health and finances.  Stand and do not be deterred.  This is a word about NOW for you have no assurance of tomorrow.  NOW is the day of your salvation.  NOW is the day of your deliverance.  Walk in freedom NOW.  Walk in faith NOW.  Rejoice in the Lord NOW.  Share your faith with others NOW.  Be delivered NOW from all that hinders you. NOW IS THE ACCEPTED TIME!

For he said, I have heard you in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succored you: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) 2 Cor. 6:2

God has a perfect plan for each one of our lives. Each one has been given a certain number of days on this earth and only the Lord knows the number of them. Today it was sad finding out a friend from the past had died over five years ago. In younger years we had been friends for many years and had worked together as young adults. The last time I had spoken to her over twelve years ago I had shared my faith in Christ with her. Tears keep coming to my eyes and truly I am sad. Only Father knows her heart but this speaks loudly the importance of our sharing Christ with others when we have opportunity. We have been given much by the Lord and much is expected. So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts to wisdom. Psalm 90:12

Too much reasoning from the human heart can wage war against Holy Spirit in you.  He is your teacher and you must allow Him to speak into your heart and life.  Dissecting everything as one in this world will not bring about the peaceable fruit of righteousness.  Instead ask the Father to show you what He wants you to see and give you understanding for this is best.  Continue to fill your heart with His Word and He will bring about the necessary change in you.  Watch and pray and Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not to your own understanding.  Prov. 3:5

Jesus saw that of His own self He could do nothing. Oh beloved if only we could come to that place of saying, like Jesus, I can of My own self do nothing but what I see the Father do. How simple life would be! When we come to this place, our walk with the Lord will take on a new dimension. Walking in the Spirit here on this earth just as Jesus did. Miracles will happen, mouths will line up with the Word of God and love will flow amongst the brethren.


Simply we will love like Jesus loved, and the church will walk together in unity as one. Not in expense of the truth of the Word of God but we will walk as the Word of God did in the earth. Kingdom living at its best, lives touched and changed by the power of God. Glory to His name.

Hear the roar of the Lion of Judah throughout the earth.  Listen for His voice and do not heed the enemy.  He roars is but a counterfeit.  Jesus is the truth and life and He is indeed speaking to men and women. Shut out the other voices that come for they are many and come in many forms.  Learn to sort them out by My Spirit.  Think on things that are good, pure and lovely and do not entertain the thoughts of the evil one.  Move forward slowly but with confidence and continue to strive for perfection that comes from time in My presence.  Hunger and thirst for righteousness and be holy for I am holy, says the Lord. Be you therefore perfect, even as our Father which is in Heaven is perfect. Matt. 5:48

Be An Encourager

A little word in season can go right to the heart of the matter.  A word to one that is weary can bring such encouragement.  Let God use you today to speak to someone for you may very well be the one Father puts on their path.  Ask Him for wisdom and He will mister though you. We bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ. Together we will bring glory to His name.  A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.  Prov. 25:11

Then he answered and spoke to me, saying, This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, said the LORD of hosts. Zech. 4:6

A Gentle Reminder!

A GENTLE REMINDER!

Sometimes we can become so concerned about our needs, yet our Heavenly Father knows them before we even ask.  Little birds are so carefree, not worrying at all about their daily food. Father is gently reminding us that He will supply all our NEED according to His riches in glory.  Will you put your trust in Him today?  Be busy about your Father's business and trust Him, to do the rest.

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 2 Cor. 9:8

Heightened Alert!

HEIGHTENED ALERT!

We need to be on heightened alert in the spirit and like a radar be able to detect the slightest thing going on around us.  When an enemy tries to slip in under the radar they can be detected.  Through the discerning of spirits and the exercising of this gift our senses will be able to discern between good and evil.  Put on the full armor of God that you can withstand all the works of the enemy and having done all, stand.

But strong meat belongs to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.  Heb. 5:14

One can see that the bride of Christ is not yet walking in her full power and authority.  We are seated in heavenly places and yet walk far beneath that position.  There are those who have their eyes open and walking in their God given authority yet many do not.  Jesus was tempted by the enemy after forty days of fasting and overcame by quoting scripture OUT LOUD.  Not once but three times He said,  "IT IS WRITTEN".  Father wants you to know that IT IS WRITTEN that you have been given authority over ALL power of the enemy.  Now is the time to walk in it!  By faith you are an over comer.


Behold, I give to you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19

God has a plan to give you a future and hope.  No one can thwart the plans of the Lord as you stand in faith believing in His Word.  Much has been spoken about the powers that be trying to control and legislate life, but I say to you that your Father in Heaven has control over one little bird that falls from the sky.  He knows your need before you ask and will supply them through His means, as you put your trust in Him.  Fear not but trust in Me for I have given you a future and hope, says the Lord.


Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much better than they?  Matt. 6:26

Father wants you to be a blessing to others.  Jesus himself said, "it was more blessed to give than to receive".  There is something about giving that fills ones heart with joy.  As a body, when we ALL fulfill our part then one does not have too much and the other too little.  Pray today and ask Father what He would have you to do.  Perhaps it is giving a loaf of bread in His name.  It is not just finances.  Be a blessing to one of your sisters or brothers in need for we are to bless the household of God first. Then too, we are told to love our neighbour as ourselves so be open to Father using you as He wills. What do you have to give to another? Freely you have received so freely give.

I have showed you all things, how that so laboring you ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20:35

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good to all men, especially to them who are of the household of faith. Gal. 6:10

Do You Hear The Wind?

We have beautiful sun and high winds today. My doors are open and the breeze is blowing inside the house. And so it should be with our spiritual houses that are the temple of Holy Spirit. The spirit of Jesus lives in our hearts. Even the trees outside are clapping their hands in the wind. It does not matter their stature all are blowing as the wind moves through them. So it is with the body of Christ. We all have been given a measure of Christ. We are all to be filled with the Holy Ghost and fire. We are all to be like those trees, who are planted and rooted in different places. Some seem to have more fruit on them than others but they have one thing in common. All are blowing in the wind. We too need to let the wind of Holy Spirit blow on our spiritual houses. From the front door to the back, even the mirror on the hall wall is moving as is the lamp. How wonderful!

Today will you allow the wind of His Holy Spirit to blow in your life. Will you let Him to move in His temple? You are the temple of Holy Spirit. This wind seems to be blowing away all that is not anchored down but we have an anchor in Christ and Jesus is His name. Father is looking for those that will follow Him and go where He calls them to go. Let the wind of His Spirit take you where He wants you to go today. Let us treasure the Spirit of Jesus in our hearts, hear His voice and move by faith as He leads. The wind blows where it wants, and you hear the sound thereof, but cannot tell from where it comes, and where it goes: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. John 3:8

My Dad used to say that tears were a language God understands. Tonight though it is late in coming down stairs and passing by some photos, I picked up one of my precious Dad who is now with Jesus. It is not very often that I do this but as I did tears came to my eyes. I said to myself, "I miss him but he is in a far better place". I'm grateful to Father for a very good relationship with my Dad but know that everyone is not so fortunate. There are those of you that have lost a Dad, perhaps recently or a good while ago and for some your Dad is still living, yet you still need healing of your memories. What comes to mind when you think about your relationship with you Dad? 

Your Heavenly Father will heal you everywhere you hurt as you forgive your Dad for all the mistakes he made. You see the Lord wants you to be able to move beyond the hurt and pain to a place of forgiveness and this will change how you view your Abba Father. We can often view the Lord the way we see our earthly Dad, so won't you take time with Father and ask Him for the grace to forgive, in Jesus name. In forgiving you will move past your pain and one day minister to others. Remember only the Lord is able to heal you everywhere you hurt.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

Calm Your Storm

Do you ever feel that you need more of God?  Do you feel overwhelmed with all that is taking place in the nations?  Does it seem that at times the Lord is silent when you want to hear from Him and know what is going to take place and when?  Then, you are not alone.  Many are feeling this way.  The truth is, Father will reveal to us what He wants us to know when He wants us to know it, as we spend time with Him.  How else can we hear except we go to Father and ask Him?  It is time consuming but so very worthwhile for nothing can put a price on hearing, His still small voice.

 Amid all the clatter, come aside and hear Him. Midst all the storms of life, let Father calm them by sitting in His presence.  Such peace is found when we come to Him and for even a moment, just rest in His perfect finished work.  Realize you are a work in progress and that He knows you better than you know yourself.  Knowing this just come to Him as you are and sit in His presence, for in it is fullness of joy. You will show me the path of life: in your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures for ever more.  Psalm 16:11

We do not fully understand suffering and it is not something anyone likes to go through and yet the scripture speaks of the fellowship of His sufferings and that He learned obedience through the things He suffered. God uses even the suffering that we go through in our lives. There are many right now who are suffering in one way or another. We need to pray for one another and stand with our brothers and sisters as they also go through life's daily trials. Let us endure hardness as good soldiers of Christ and know that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Is Your Life Busy?

This morning life is happening at too fast a pace for me and one must guard against running ahead of the Lord. Years of wisdom from Father's heart have taught me that this is not a wise thing to do. Instead in choosing to sitting down with Father amidst all the little storms of life that could have consumed me, peace reigned. Everything was crying out, fix me, do me, its garbage day and the man is coming to cut the grass. Realizing of course that the issue was that at four am I was still wide awake and so had only a few hours sleep my body need to slow down to compensate and get my spiritual house in order.

My conclusion is that God time is so very precious that we cannot let anything replace it because if we give it opportunity it will. Wanting to be the intercessor God has called me to be, one needs to be available when He calls. At times it is still a learning process. The United States has been heavy on my heart as have all my precious American brothers and sisters. Their troubles are our troubles. There is a price to pay in choosing to be at Father's feet but it is worth the price to see others protected by our prayers of intercession.

Let us continue to pray for America and those that are suffering during these tornadoes and floods. One of my sisters shared that her area has a tornado warning later today. Let us lay down our lives for our friends, watch and pray with them and together as a body we will overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of our testimony. Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13

Hope in Jesus

Gods mercies to us are fresh each morning. We can therefore expect from God and put our hope in Him. When all around us seems to fail we know the Lord is faithful and true. He alone is the eternal one and He is good. His mercies endure forever. Let's look patiently to Him today and put ALL of our trust in Him. Let us hope and wait for the deliverance of the Lord. Faith is the victory that overcomes the world and because of Jesus you have hope today. O give thanks to the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endures for ever. Psalm 136:1

I am convinced that some mornings are so difficult for some because they do not start their day with Father. Praising the name of the Lord with hands uplifted overhead are a very good way to start the day. We need to set our hearts on things above and not on the things of this earth. That way, we go about our day, with our eyes on Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. When we go without breakfast by noon one can feel a little weak and it is the same way with our spiritual food. We need time in the Word of God so that we might meditate on it throughout our day.

When trials come and they will, then we put on the armor of God and are able to stand with a right spirit, in the midst of the storms of life. If you have not yet begun to praise the Lord or read His word it is not too late. Why not take some time now and be refreshed. Let the Lord minister to you out of His precious Word. To appoint to them that mourn in Zion, to give to them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.Isaiah 61:3
