It's Time

Rain is falling,
I hear it calling,
Do you hear as deep calleth unto deep?
It's time now to lay all at the Savior's feet.

Behold, the nail scarred hands,
The finished work of Calvary,
Where they took the Son of God
And hung him on a cross,
Made for you and me.
Our sins so scarlet,
Made white as snow,
Because of our sin,
The Saviour died here below.
Made for heaven.
He came to earth,
To give sinful man, new start, new birth.
The most sinful, now made clean,
Washed in the cleansing flood.
We are now made clean by the Saviour's blood.
The time of latter rain is here,
Its very gently falling,
Return now for your Lord is calling.

The Cross

Gethsemane was the battlefield,
Interceding,
Jesus sweat drops of blood,
Saying if possible take this cup from me,
Yet willing just the same,
To the cross He would go,
Bearing the cup of sin and shame,
Being separated from his Father,
To bring glory to his name.
He died that day on Calvary's cross,
Bled and died for you,
But in that moment that he died,
The veil was torn in two.

He went to hells dark doors that day,
And boldly entered in,
To save us all from going there,
Because of our life of sin.
He stayed and fought and preached there too,
Laid it on the line,
The third day came,
From the dead he rose,
Price paid in full,
His shed blood, making, salvation mine.
Presenting it to his Father as High Priest,
His mission now complete,
When man now comes and repents of sin,
Its victory, not defeat.
